EL DRAGÓN

This kind of dragon is a figure that has more recently been included in the iconography of Serrano embroidery. Its distinct feature is that it is always embroidered in the same colour (blue, green, red), sometimes without being accompanied by other animal or plant motifs.

The dragon is part of the group of imaginary, fabulous, mysterious or legendary creatures that appear in different embroidered Serrano cloths. These different beings can be found in the mythology of ancient civilisations, which are part of the popular culture tradition.
